UNITED CUP CHAMPIONS
Our team captured the GOLD at the 2010 United Cup, August 8-10th. Competition was strong, but our girls fought hard for a win against OC Premier (3-2). Temecula United wanted to beat us after our win against them in the Arsenal Summer Classic Championships, but the game was not decided as we ended in a draw (1-1). We went into the semi-finals as the number #1 seed in our bracket and won with an impressive 4-0 against FC Blades Red.
In the finals, we met up with OC Premier again for arduous battle. There were many scoring opportunities by both teams in the first half, but no shots in the goal. In the second half, Brenda and Carla were able to get two in the net. Our goalie Evelyn lived up to her tshirt and truly was "SuperGirl" not letting any goals in during this tough championship game. Finally, this was a great game for Matsy and the best going away gift by our team ("WIN IT FOR MATSY"). We'll miss you and wish you all the best!

Our team captured the GOLD at the 2010 Cypress Cup, July 31-August 1st. We won all four games in shut outs. 3-0 against America United in the first game, 2-0 against Viking SC Strikers in t
he second, 4-0 against 10 SC Premier in the third, and 2-0 against America United in the championship game. Our goal keepers, Shawna and Evelyn, along with our defensive line didn't let any shots in the net. Our forwards with the help of midfielders scored an impressive 11 goals. Leading scorer in this tournament was Brenda.
Arsenal Summer Classic Champions
Our team won against CFC United, Arsenal FC South, Scripps United, and Temecula United. We scored 13 goals during this tournament and a winning start to our 2010 summer tournament season.
In the Fall, we'll be competing in the Silver South bracket of Coast Soccer League.
