Johnny Carroll

Johnny Carroll has 30 years of soccer experience. He has played in Europe and the US, starting his club soccer career in the Coast Soccer League in 1978. In 1987 he started coaching in the CSL.   Additionally Johnny has coached both high school teams and college teams with great success and has coached and trained players who currently are playing in the NCAA.  In 2001 Johnny traveled to Europe, taking ODP pool players to face off against some of Europe's top youth programs. Johnny has also officiated soccer matches since 1980 at many levels.

Johnny spends a great deal of time with technique and skills, helping each player from the ground up to build a solid soccer foundation.  He builds on that base by teaching them field placement, movement and decision making in combination with soccer specific exercises, ball skills and overall fitness.  He has a special talent for working with a team while managing to still work with every player on an individual basis and help each develop their own areas of need and skill sets.  Despite all this attention to detail and discipline, practice and training sessions are always fun and players look forward to practice.

Presently Johnny is the Girls Program Director at South Coast Bayern and is the fitness director for the TSD training camps.  Johnny has a great passion for the game and enjoys working with players of all ages and levels.  His love for the game is one of the main reasons for his continued success.
